MPRP'S FACTION MEETS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Head of the Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party's (MPRP) faction at the State Great Khural D.Lundeejantsan spoke about the faction's meeting held on Monday.
Similar to the Demparty's group, the faction discussed two issues--the budget clarification and improvement of local power of managing budget by limiting the centralization of budget.
The gathered received from working group an information about measures to improve local power of budget. It was decided as important to make a comprehensive reform in the tax environment and to increase economic authority in order to have aimags exercise the budgetary power and make it more optimal, he said.
In responding to questions about firing 7,000 staffers he said that all state organizations are obliged to reduce administrative expenses in order to save MNT 8 billion. He said they are ordered to submit their plans of reforming administrations together with draft budgets of the next year to the parliamentary autumn session.
According to Lundeejantsan, the factions of the MPRP and DemParty stand on the same position on delivering money to children. This matter will be tackled in frames of the Human Development Fund. “Everything will become clear when parliament considers a budget. It is expected that children will receive their allowance every month,” he said, and added that the structural reform in the state administration will be performed in October this year.
