Iran's President provides special plane to victims of bus crash

Tehran, June 15, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad ordered the dispatch of a special plane to the Philippines to bring home the injured and dead Iranians in a bus crash in that country.

A bus carrying a group of Iranian medical and nursing students and their relatives careened off the cliff and fell into a ravine 30 feet (9 meters) deep in the central island of Cebu on Sunday.

Twenty Iranians were killed and 23 others injured in the accident./end
