AZERI DELEGATION ATTENDS INTERNATIONAL LABOR CONFERENCE IN GENEVA
Baku, 15 May (AzerTAc). An Azerbaijani delegation led by deputy minister of labor and social protection of population Natig Mammadov is attending the 99th conference of the International Labour Organization, ILO, in Geneva.
Mammadov made remarks at the event to highlight what the Azerbaijani government had been doing to cope with the impact of the global financial crisis. He also praised the relations between Azerbaijan and ILO.
On the sidelines of the event the Azeri delegation held meetings with top officials of the International Labour Organization to discuss prospects for expanding the bilateral cooperation.
Mammadov also met some of the participating delegates, including the Turkish and Ukrainian ministers of labor and social security.
