EU loses chance to talk : Iran FM spokesman
Tehran, June 15, IRNA – Foreign Ministry spokesman said Tuesday that the EU Foreign Affairs’ Chief Catherine Ashton lost the chance to hold talks with Iran’s Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili.
“She had been given a three-month-long time for conferring with Jalili,” Ramin Mehman-Parast told reporters at his weekly news conference.
Mehman-Parast added the set time for talks is now over, but however, her request for talks is under review.
The Foreign Ministry spokesman underlined that the Islamic Republic of Iran continues its peaceful nuclear activities./end
