AZERI POWERLIFTER CLAIMS EUROPEAN CROWN
Baku, June 15 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s Rufat Agayev has won gold medal of the European powerlifting championship in Hungary after lifting a total of 1040 kg.
Agayev secured the title in the 125 kg weigh category.
A special conference was held on the sidelines of the championship to discuss the possibilities of organizing the world powerlifting championship in Baku next September.
