CSTO security secretaries in Moscow to discuss Kyrgyz developments.

MOSCOW, June 14 (Itar-Tass) -- Secretaries of the Security Council of
the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) on Monday gathered in
Moscow to discuss the situation in Kyrgyzstan.
The consultations will be attended by representative from Kyrgyzstan,
where ethnic clashes have been reported for the fourth day running.
The consultations are held on the initiative of Russian President
Dmitry Medvedev, who is currently chairing the CSTO Collective Security
Council. Earlier, the Kyrgyz authorities asked Russia to introduce
peacekeeping troops to the violence-gripped Osh and Jalal-Abad regions.
According to latest reports, the death toll in ethnic violence has
reached 117. A total of 1,485 people have sought medical help.
