AZERTAC CORRESPONDENT`S SIGNAL PROMPTS REGNUM NEWS AGENCY TO REMOVE PARAGRAPH BY ARMENIAN AUTHOR
Berlin, June 12 (AzerTAc). The article “Socintern demands return of Mutallibov from Baku” posted by Regnum news agency contained (before its being deleted by editor-in-chief Modest Kolerov) a paragraph: as Regnum news agency reported earlier, Mutallibov was exiled from Azerbaijan for disclosing the truth on the Khojaly tragedy. The Azerbaijani official propaganda tries to accuse Armenians of killing of civilians in Khojaly, but then-President of Azerbaijan Ayaz Mutallibov confessed in March 1992 that “corridor people could flee through was nevertheless left by Armenians” and “there were enough forces near Agdam to assist people at that time””.
The paragraph is a result of blasphemous attempts of the Armenian state propaganda to hide its own role in killing civilians of the Azerbaijani town of Khojaly and escape responsibility for committing such a military crime. Phrase “as Regnum reported earlier” is in fact an exaggeration since it is far from being a position of the news agency and nothing but the working of the sick imagination of Regnum`s concrete Armenian staffers.
A sane person would not write such blasphemous things.
It is to inform Regnum`s readership that Ayaz Mutallibov was indeed exiled from Azerbaijan but not for “disclosing the truth on Khojaly tragedy” but for full inaction as well as failure to observe its own decree on establishment of the national army and to take timely measures to protect civilians in Nagorno-Karabakh, which allowed Armenians to annihilate and force Azerbaijani population from its native lands. For this reason, Mutallibov was deservedly deposed.
