Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ In the first five months of this year, 440.3 thousand people got registered as insurer, of which 176.8 thousand or 40.2 per cent were from the government institutions, 263.4 thousand or 59.8 per cent insurers--from the private establishments.
Total amount of pensions allocated from the social insurance fund reached MNT 138.4 billion in the first five months of 2010. Retirement pensions accounted for 72.9 per cent; pensions for the disabled--for 12.9 per cent; breadwinner loss pensions--for 7.5 per cent, and military pension took 6.7 per cent of the total amount.
In this period, social welfare pensions and benefits had been allocated for 171.0 thousand people with the amount of MNT 19.6 billion, reduced by 1.1 million people or 86.7 per cent; the total amount of the allocated fund down by MNT 31.7 billion or 61.8 per cent, compared to the same period of the previous year.
From this year, MNT 70.0 thousand for each started to be allocated, and in the first five months of 2010 a total of MNT 162.3 billion werew given to 2.3 million people from the Human Development Fund (HDF).
