      Yemen external debt drops off to nearly US$5.88 bln
 SANA'A, June 13 (Saba) - Yemen's
external debt edged down to US$5,875,000,000 at the end of April, declining 20
million,
compared with the previous March.
A report issued by the Central Bank of Yemen (CBY) said that more than the half of
the Yemeni debt, approximately US$3,089,000,000, is for the international finance
organizations.
The Paris Club countries come next with roughly US$1,729,000,000, the report said.
According to the CBY, the debt owed to non-Paris Club countries reached by the end
of April this year US$858 million, in addition to US$ 199 million for other bodies.
