Kazakh diplomat hails Iran’s rich civilization
Tehran, June 14, IRNA – Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Tehran Nurbakh Rustemuv here on Sunday hailed Iran as an important country enjoying an old civilization.
Rustemuv told Head of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of Majlis Ala’eddin Boroujerdi that extensive grounds for Iran-Kazakhstan cooperation necessitate upgrading of bilateral ties in different political, economic and cultural arenas.
Boroujerdi for his part said Majlis supports stronger parliamentary relations and cooperation with Kazakhstan.
He referred to membership of Iran and Kazakhstan in the Organization of the Islamic Conference and the Caspian Sea Cooperation Council, saying ever growing relations between Iran and Kazakhstan can set a proper model for cooperation among regional states.
He urged continued parliamentary relations between his country and Iran./end
