Kyrgyz conflict sides should peacefully settle crisis-Belarus FM.

MINSK, June 13 (Itar-Tass) - The Belarusian side is following the
escalation of the conflict in Kyrgyzstan with concern and urges its
earliest settlement by exclusively peaceful methods.
"Expressing sincere regret in connection with the death of people we
turn to all the sides of the conflict (with an appeal) to display
restraint, stop violence that can only aggravate the situation, cause new
irreparable losses, as well as grave consequences for Kyrgyzstan and the
region in general," press secretary of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry
Andrei Savinykh said.
According to him, it is necessary to "exclude violation of the legal
rights and freedoms of the national minorities residing in Kyrgyzstan, the
same as the interests of the whole population of the country."
"The Belarusian side calls for the earliest settlement of the crisis
situation with taking into account the interests of all the sides with the
use of exclusively peaceful means," Savinykh noted. He also said that
Minsk expresses the hope that the "reason and wisdom characteristic of the
multinational Kyrgyz people that survived in its history various upheavals
and that has always found ways of overcoming them, will prevail."
