Responding to a question on the role of Tehran Declaration in forming a new move in the international system, Ahmadinejad said that some governments, which have been governing the world over the past 60 years, had assumed that the whole future would be in their hands and all nations and governments would choose the paths that they had drawn.

In reply to another question about the isolation of Iran in the world, Ahmadinejad stressed that the whole world is not a few European countries. In the NPT conference in New York, Iran proposed its stances and some propositions, the Americans and Europeans also presented their reasons, but finally over 180 countries supported Iran’s proposals and this clearly shows who has been isolated.

The Zionist regime has imposed a heavy war against Gaza residents and upon information they are planning for another attack against Gaza and aggravating blockade and prevention of humanitarian aid for Gaza residents are in this direction.
Ahmadinejad added that the Zionists attack on freedom flotilla has yet again revealed the brutal nature of the illegitimate regime, but this time the world community has awakened and is taking stances against the regime.
Although the Zionists attack on freedom flotilla was based upon a plan, they committed a grave historical mistake, which is a big step toward ending their existence.
Replying to another question regarding the Arab countries reaction against the latest crime of the Zionist regime, Ahmadinejad said that it is expected that the Islamic and Arab countries, as the first step, sever ties with the regime and boycott the regime and help residents of Gaza.

On whether the loss sustained by insistence on using nuclear energy is not more than its benefits? Ahmadinejad replied that this view is wrong. The price of production of atomic energy is much lower than fossil fuel, so there would be no loss, but expenses also will decrease and in the political arena and confrontation of Iran with western world, the issue of nuclear energy will cause power and progress for Iran.
The interviewer said some people believe that cost of nuclear energy is not proportional to Iran’s needs, the president stressed that in economic point of view, production of electricity by nuclear energy is cheaper than producing by oil, and if it means boycotting technologies which we are under sanctions for the past 30 years, but these sanctions had caused progress in Iran and now we own technologies, and if it means expenses in the political arena, Iran is more powerful than five years ago, so there is no loss.
About weak relations between Iran with countries like Germany and France, Ahmadinejad said that these two countries were Iran’s main trade partners, but they are not anymore, today.
He added that nowadays, Iran’s ties with most of world countries is more extensive than with European countries. Iran has no need of Europe anymore; Iran does not need to rely on any alien powers, because Iran is a big power itself.

The interviewer asked about the concerns of the Bushehr Power Plant radiations, to which the president specified that the highest safety standards have been observed there and according to the IAEA experts, the Bushehr complex has adequate safety.
Meanwhile, over 10 million people are living around the power plant, so if there was any doubt about its safety, the Iranian government would show necessary sensitivity and there is no place for concern.
