Yemeni Ulema Society Chief underlined importance of WCD

Sanaa, July 17, SPA -- Head of the Ulema (Islamic Scholars) Society
in Yemen Mohammed Al-Hajji underlined Wednesday the importance of
World Conference on Dialogue, starting its works in the Spanish
capital later today.


In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), he said the dialogue
with members of the revealed messages and oriental philosophies is a
good step in the right direction if it is based on tolerance and
consultations.


He called for cooperation and respecting the weak people within the
framework of mutual respect of the nations' sovereignty and
independence.
