ITALIAN MAURO DE FILIPPIS WINS TRAP MEN GOLD MEDAL
Baku, June 12 (AzerTAc). The fourth round of the World Skeet Shooting Cup kicked off in Lonato, Italy. Azerbaijan is represented at the tournament by 7 leading shooters – Zemfira Meftakhetdinova, Elvin Ismaylov, Regina Meftakhetdinova, Emin Jafarov, Khanhuseyn Baghirov, Nurlana Jafarova and Elchin Babayev.
Azeri shooter Elchin Babayev scored 93 points in trap shooting to take the 135th place while Evin Ismaylov finished 138th with 91 points.
Italy`s De Filippis won the Trap Men Gold medal, taking the place of his teammate Viganò, who lost the brightest medal at the last shot after leading the match since the qualifications.
