Shanghai Expo opportunity to boost two-way ties with China

Shanghai, June 12, IRNA – Iran’s Minister of Commerce Mehdi Ghazanfari said the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai is a proper opportunity for furthering Iran-China cooperation.
Ghazanfari made the remark while addressing the ceremony on Iran’s National Pavilion Day at the Shanghai Expo in the presence of the Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
Referring to Iran as one of the effective countries in the Middle East region and the world, Ghazanfari said the country has taken important strides in economic development.
The Shanghai 2010 World Expo being in China opened on May 1 and will run until October 31, 2010. President Ahmadinejad who took part in the Expo arrived in Tehran early on Saturday./end
