Rally continues for Vietnam exchange
Hanoi (VNA) - Good news continued for the local stock market on July 15, with nearly all stocks gaining.
The VN-Index closed at 479.80 points, up 11.86 points or 2.53 percent, and trading volume increased to 10.35 million shares, up from the 8.48 million shares on July 14.
Trade turnover totalled 353.83 billion VND (21.44 million USD).
Purchases covered the trading board, specifically blue chip purchases, and
sale orders were unable to meet demand.
The HASTC-Index of Hanoi Securities Trading Centre rose 4.05 percent,
closing at 142.83 points. About 3.1 million shares changed hands with
revenues of 87.12 billion VND (5.28 million USD).
Only four codes slid on July 15, nearly all penny stocks like ONE of One
Communications and L62 of Lilama 69.2. Nearly all gainers hit ceiling
