Curfew introduced in Osh region of Kyrgyzstan.

BISHKEK, June 11 (Itar-Tass) - A curfew has been introduced in the Osh
region of Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the country's interim
government told Itar-Tass on Friday.
The curfew will be in effect from 20:00 p.m. to 06:00 a.m., local time
in the territory of the regional centre Osh and the adjoining district
centre Uzgen, the Uzgen and Kara-Suu districts. Representatives of the
Interior Ministry leadership and the State National Security Service have
urgently gone to the south of the republic.
According to eyewitnesses, fist fighting between local youth groups
started in Osh on Friday, after which pogroms and arsons of buildings
started in the city. Explosions of stun grenades and sirens of fire
engines have been heard in the city's centre. There have been no reports
about casualties yet. Armoured equipment and units of the Interior Troops
have been brought in the city.
Earlier, the interim government of Kyrgyzstan imposed a state of
emergency in Osh.
