President Ahmadinejad officially welcomed by Tajik counterpart
Dushanbe, June 9, IRNA - President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was officially welcomed here Wednesday by his Tajik counterpart Emomali Rahmon.
The Iranian President arrived here early Wednesday morning to attend the World Water Conference.
While in Dushanbe, the Iranian President is to hold separate talks with President Rahmon as well as other senior Tajik officials about major bilateral, regional and international developments.
Upon his arrival in Dushanbe airport, President Ahmadinejad was welcomed by Tajik Prime Minister Oqil Oqilov.
The Iranian President is to present Tehran’s views on water preservation, protection and appropriate consumption during the conference./end
