AZERI OMBUDSMAN`s REPRESENTATIVES ATTEND INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE IN YALTA
Baku, June 9 (AzerTAc). A delegation of Azerbaijan`s Ombudsman Office has attended an international conference on Protecting Women and Children through Human Rights Instruments in Yalta, Ukraine.
The event, initiated by the Council of Europe and European Union, was part of a project on strengthening and protecting women`s and children`s rights in Ukraine (TRES).
One of the objectives of the Joint Project between the Council of Europe and the European Union on TRES is to support reforms with regard to gender equality and children`s rights in view of a better implementation of the Charter in the country.
