International Conference on Dialogue's participants hail King
Madrid, July 15, SPA -- A number of prominent figures participating
in the International Conference on Dialogue hailed the call by
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz to hold
this conference and described it as an unprecedented blessed step.
In statements to Saudi Press Agency today, they commended the king's
support for dialogue describing him as the pioneer of dialogue
whether in Saudi Arabia through the national dialogue, in the Arab
homeland through the bilateral dialogues or at the Islamic level
through the Islamic-Islamic dialogue in addition to the bilateral
dialogue with courtiers of the world.
The participants said the king is keen on promoting dialogue among
peoples of various cultures, races, civilizations and orientations
all over the world as well as understanding and cooperation among
nations.
The participants included the director of data center of the Jewish
Shin Bet organization in the US, the president of the international
council of the Ariae community in India, the cultural advisor to the
ministry of the affairs of the presidency in the United Arab
Emirates, the president of the fiqhi council of North America, chief
advisor to the Indian-Russian commerce chamber and the bishop of
Almaasarah, Hilwan and Dar Alsalam in Egypt.
