Envoy: Iran backs Lebanese consensus on unity, resistance
Beirut, June 8, IRNA – Iran's ambassador to Lebanon announced here Monday that Tehran supports Lebanese consensus on unity, and resistance, attaching importance to support for truth.
Ghazanfar Roknabadi made the comment in a visit of the south of Lebanon, stressing Iran’s will for opening a new page in the book of the two countries’ relations, particularly in economic and commercial fields.
The Iranian ambassador said that strengthening the bilateral ties would be to the benefit of everyone in Lebanon, emphasizing, “Iran welcomes the Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Eddin Hariri of Iran at any time that he would wish.”/end
