MINISTER GRANTS DEVICES

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Minister of Environment and Tourism L.Gansukh granted Monday devices of meteorological mobile radar to heads of the meteorology, hydrology and environment monitoring sections of Zavkhan, Khentii, Selenge and Ovorkhangai aimags.
Thanks to receiving these devices, an opportunity is created in Mongolia to set up a network of cloud mobile radar. For the time being, radars are working in Sukhbaatar, Omnogobi, Gobi-Altai and Khovd aimags in frames of the program on development of intentional activities to climate to be realized until 2015. Thus, Mongolia has a total of ten mobile and stationary radars in Ulaanbaatar city and rural areas.
