Sanctions, economic war against country: Iran Minister
Tehran, June 7, IRNA – Iran's minister of economic affairs and finance said Monday that economic sanctions on Iran are in fact an “economic war” against the country.
Shamseddin Hosseini made the remarks in a meeting with a number of managers, editors-in-chief and correspondents, at the Islamic Republic News Agency's (IRNA) headquarters.
Hosseini opined that an “economic war” is more hidden than a political war or even a cultural one.
Positive news should be released to counter those wars, the minister said.
He further commented that the country today needs those media which give a true picture of the economic realities to the people./end
