OIC Chief urges formation of committee to probe Zionists’ crimes
Jeddah, June 7, IRNA – Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu on Sunday called for the formation of a judicial committee to try Zionist regime officials on the basis of international regulations.
Ihsanoglu told the emergency meeting of the OIC Foreign Ministers Executive Committee that Muslim countries are now in a position that can make important decisions to curb the Zionist regime’s aggressions.
He recommended the Palestinians to seize the opportunity available as a result of the global consensus and international agreements which support them.
He added that contacts have been made with the Muslim heads of state in New York and Vienna to find ways of trying the Zionist regime officials and draw up strategies to break siege of Gaza./end
