Mottaki provides OIC with 10 proposals to face Zionist regime

Jeddah, June 7, IRNA – Iran’s Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki on Sunday provided an OIC session with 10 proposals to deal with the Zionist regime’s criminal attack on Freedom Flotilla and break the siege on Gaza.
Addressing the emergency session of OIC Foreign Ministers Executive Committee, Mottaki said that the Zionist regime’s criminal invasion of the humanitarian aid convoy in free international waters is nothing but a terrorist move, state piracy and violation of all international and humanitarian laws.
He said that the crime is in line with other big crimes that the Zionist regime has committed in its lifespan.
He noted that the crime is another instance of the regime’s brazen and merciless treatment of regional Muslims, especially the oppressed Palestinian people, in the past decades.
Mottaki said that the humanitarian peace convoy bound to Gaza was not a mere aid convoy, but rather it represented the world public opinion. He added that the attack once again revealed the true nature of the Zionists, who are much uglier and tougher than the Fascists.
Condoling the bereaved families of the victims, especially the Turkish people, on the tragic incident and praying for the speedy recovery of the injured, Mottaki said that the move of the victims is an instance of “soft Intifadha and powerful and influential diplomacy’ to unveil the Zionist regime’s nature.
Mottaki said that the international community should think what a dangerous phenomenon now dominates the sensitive Middle East region, the usurped Palestinian territory and the oppressed Palestinian people.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Mottaki provided the meeting with 10 proposals to get rid of the Zionists’ crimes which included the trial of Zionist rulers, breaking the siege of Gaza through swift aid shipment of medical and food aid by air, land and sea, judicial prosecution and punishment of Zionist rulers, imposition of tougher sanctions on the Zionist regime, suspending membership of the regime in the international and regional organizations, severing diplomatic relations with the Zionist regime, sending a clear political message to the Zionist regime and its allies, and urging the UN Chief to provide Palestinians with more support./end
