First Shiraz-London flight
Shiraz, Fars Prov, June 6, IRNA – The first flight from Shiraz to London took place on Sunday at a special ceremony in the southern Iranian province of Fars.
The Shiraz-London indirect flight is scheduled for every Sunday at 06:20 local time with a stop-over at the Imam Khomeini Airport in south of Tehran, the provincial Manager of the Iran Air told reporters.
Mahmoud Vafaei said the flight carries 252 passengers. He noted that Shiraz-London flight is considered as a bridge for relations between the province and the European states. Shiraz is the capital of Fars Province./end
