Saleh, Abbas held talks on Palestinian latest developments
SANA'A, July 16 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh held a telephone conversation on Monday with President of Palestinian National Authority Mahmoud Abbas.
They discussed the current developments in the Palestinian arena, particularly Arab efforts in order to achieve Palestinian reconciliation deal, bring together Palestinian national parties to interest of Palestinian people and serve its fair issue.
President Saleh confirmed the importance of Fateh and Hamas movements to cooperate with those efforts to strengthen the Palestinian people unity to confront all challengesand to end Israeli blockade imposed on them in Gaza Strip.
He indicated that the continuous division in Palestinian parties do not serve except enemies of the Palestinian people and harm its interest and issues.
President Abbas expressed his appreciation for President Saleh for his interest in the Palestinian unity, appreciating President Saleh's stance supporting the Palestinian issue and rights, particularly its rights to establish the Palestinian state on its national land and Quds its capital.
