DAYS OF AZERBAIJANI CULTURE ENDED IN QATAR
Baku, June 4 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfaz Garayev visited Qatar to attend Days of Azerbaijani Culture on June 1-4.
The audience watched a concert program by Azerbaijan`s Group of Musical Instruments and State Dancing Group, as well as “Leyli and Majnun” opera performed by of the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre.
On the sidelines of the event, Azerbaijan`s Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfaz Garayev met Qatari Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kuwari.
The Qatari minister offered translation of the works by Azerbaijani classics into Arabic.
The ministers also agreed to organize mutual exhibition of artists of the two countries in the end of the current year.
