President Saleh phones Saudi king
SANA'A, 16 (Saba) - President Ali Abdullah Saleh held Monday a telephone conversation with King of Saudi Arabia Abdullah Bin AbdulAziz al Saud.
During the phone call, the leaders discussed the latest developments and issues of common concern in the region, especially in thePalestinian arena.
Saleh and Abdullah talked about the Israeli unjust siege imposed on the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip, efforts being exerted for the sake of ending this blockade, encouraging dialogue, realizing the Palestinian-Palestinian reconciliation and strengthening Palestiniannational unity.
President Saleh confirmed the significance of the Saudi role to push those efforts forward toward achieving aspired purposes to serve thePalestinian people's issue.
