AZERBAIJAN`s NATIONAL FLAG RAISED IN TORONTO
Baku, June 3 (AzerTAc). On the occasion of May 28th - Republic Day, Azerbaijan`s national flag was raised in front of the building of provincial parliament of Ontario, Toronto, Canada.
The event was initiated by member of the provincial parliament Reza Moridin and Azerbaijani community in Toronto.
The flag raising ceremony was accompanied by Azerbaijan`s national anthem.
Officials of Azerbaijan embassy to Canada, MPs, Turkish Consulate General to Toronto and members of the Azerbaijani community were present at the ceremony.
Before the ceremony, speaker of Ontario provincial parliament met representative of the Azerbaijani embassy to discuss prospects of cooperation in various fields, in particular economic one.
