QUAKE SHAKES CASPIAN SEA FLOOR

Baku, June 3 (AzerTAc). An earthquake measuring 2-3 on the Richter scale jolted the Caspian Sea floor, the Azerbaijan Seismological Service of National Academy of Sciences reported.
The quake, which has occurred at 09:53 today, was centered 50 km north-east of Baku. Tremors of 3 and 2 were felt in Baku and Pirallakhi island respectively. No injuries or damages have been reported. A temblor measuring 2,7 occurred yesterday 20 km north-west from Pirguli village (Shamakha region of Azerbaijan).
