Yemen, India discuss scientific, academic cooperation

DHAMAR, July 15 (Saba)- Rector of Dhamar University Ahmed al-Hadrani discussed here on Monday with the Indian consul to Sana'a aspects of scientific and academic cooperation between the University of Dhamarand Indian universities.

Both sides affirmed the importance of preparing training and rehabilitation programs for professionals, students, graduate students and professors of Dhamar University in the Indianuniversities.

They also discussed the arrangement for the signing of bilateral cooperation agreements between the two sides in the areas of scientific research, participation in scientific and academic activities and benefiting from Indian expertise in variousdisciplines.

Rector of Dhamar University highlighted the importance of working through the universities to develop relations of cooperation and enhancing aspects of culture between the two countries andestablishing joint scientific and medical conferences and activities.

The talks reviewed the arrangement regarding festival of Indian folklore and heritage which will be hosted by the University ofDhamar on August 6.
