AZERI NATIONALS WHO WERE ON-BOARD AID SHIP TRAVELLING TO PALESTINE ARE NOW IN ISRAEL, FOREIGN MINISTRY
Baku, June 2 (AzerTAc). Two Azerbaijani nationals who were on-board a ship, which was carrying aid to the Gaza Strip, are now in Israel, according to a spokesman of Azerbaijan`s foreign ministry.
Elkhan Polukhov said the two were currently at Israel`s Immigration Detention Center.
“Israel`s law enforcement agencies are now preparing appropriate documentation in accordance with the country`s laws.”
“Azerbaijan`s foreign ministry is also working towards indentifying their identities and ensuring their soonest return to the country,” Polukhov added.
