WAR AGAINST FASCISM COULD HAVE HAD QUITE ANOTHER END WITHOUT TIRELESS WORK OF AZERBAIJANI OILMEN`

Baku, June 2 (AzerTAc). “We`ve recently celebrated the 65th anniversary of the Victory over fascism, and if it was not for Azerbaijan`s oil and tireless work of Azerbaijani oilmen, the war could have had quite another end,” said President Ilham Aliyev in his address to the 17th Caspian oil and gas exhibition and conference.
“Azerbaijan is an ancient land of oil. It is Azerbaijan where oil was for the first time extracted using industrial method. It is Azerbaijan where oil was for the first time in the world extracted from offshore fields,” he said
According to Azerbaijani leader, Azerbaijan has been successfully cooperating with foreign companies over the past 16 years.
