INTERNATIONAL OIL AND GAS CONFERENCE KICKS OFF IN BAKU

Baku, June 2 (AzerTAc). The 17th international oil and gas conference has started here today.
The conference`s session “Europe`s energy geopolitics and role of Azerbaijan” was addressed by Minister of Industry and Energy Natig Aliyev, Senior advisor of the ITE Group PLC Andrew Wood, US Secretary of State`s Special Envoy for Eurasian Energy Richard Morningstar, Turkish Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Yusif Yazar, chairman of Kazakhstan`s KazMunaygaz company`s Board Kairgeldi Kabildin, Georgian Deputy Energy Minister Mariam Valishvili and others. The speakers touched on Azerbaijan`s role in the context of Caspian region`s geopolitics, constructive dialogue between Europe and Asia, world`s energy demand.
The participants heard reports on Caspian region`s role in ensuring Europe`s energy security, technologies reducing impact of environment.
