Student union condemns Zionists’ attack on freedom flotilla

Tehran, June 1, IRNA – A student union condemned the attack of Zionists on a group of anti-siege activists who were trying to ferry international humanitarian aid to Gaza Strip.

In a statement issued on Monday, the Tehran-based Union of Islamic World Students strongly slammed the Zionists’ act as inhuman.

It said that “the Zionists’ attack on a flotilla of ships carrying humanitarian supplies to the besieged Gaza Strip and martyrdom of at least 20 free human beings, not only showed the real face of Zionism but also gave an awareness to human thoughts.”

Condemning the inhuman operation, the statement stressed that the world governments were also partners of Zionist regime in this crime.

Noting that Zionists usually start a huge advertisement to change the facts on such events, the statement called on Islamic nations to cut ties with Zionist regime and continue to gather and send assistances to Gazans.

It further announced the readiness of the Union’s members to be dispatched to Gaza to fight for glory of Islam./end
