Pakistan agreements with World Bank to improve electricity, water system
Islamabad, July 15 (PPI) - Pakistan Monday signed two agreements with World Bank for electricity distribution, transmission improvement project of $256 million and water sector capacity building, advisory services project of $38 million.
It will assist distribution and transmission companies in strengthening their network to meet increase in electricity demand with better reliability and quality.
The second project is to improve management and investment planning of water resources in Indus river system of the country.
