KUWAITI NEWSPAPER PUBLISHES AZERI AMBASSADOR`s ARTICLE
Baku, May 31 (AzerTAc). Azeri ambassador in Kuwait City Shahin Abdullayev has highlighted his country`s history and achievements in one of the leading local newspapers, An Nahar, on the eve of Azerbaijan`s Republic Day.
Abdullayev`s article highlights the history of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic (ADR), which was founded 92 years ago.
Touching upon reasons of the ADR`s fall in 1920, the ambassador says it was because of the invasion by the Russian Red Army and crimes committed by the Armenian armed forces.
The author also raises the Kuwaiti readers` awareness of the role of Azerbaijan`s national leader Heydar Aliyev in restoring, strengthening and preserving the country`s independence.
The ambassador noted “due to Heydar Aliyev`s wise internal and foreign policy Azerbaijan has reached all-round development”.
Abdullayev also highlighted the country`s “successful” integration into the international community.
