SENIOR JUDOISTS GRAB GOLD MEDALS
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Senior judoists won medals in the Grand Masters World Judo Championships held May 27-30 in Budapest city, Hungary.
For the events gathered some 800 judoists from 45 countries to compete in ten age categories. Mongolia was represented by 22 male and female judoists, including State Honored Sportswomen Kh.Erdenet-Od and D.Tserenkhand.
Kh.Erdenet-Od (women's 57 kg), D.Tserenkhand (women's +78 kg) and Ch.Ovgonkhuu (men's +100 kg) won gold medals at the F-1 and M-8 categories in the first day of the competitions. A State Honored Sportsman G.Jamsran (men's 90 kg), J.Bayartulga (men's 66 kg) and E.Uuganbayar won bronze medals. A silver medal of the men's 73 kg of the M-4 category went to D.Battulga.
