Zanzibar minister pays tribute to late Imam

Shahr-e Rey, Tehran, May 30, IRNA – Education Minister of Zanzibar Haroun Ali Suleiman paid tribute to the founder of the Islamic Republic, the late Imam Khomeini, on Sunday.
Attending the late Imam’s mausoleum in southern Tehran, Suleiman and his entourage laid a wreath at the tomb of the father of the Islamic Revolution.
The attendance took place in commemoration of the 21st decease anniversary of the late father of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini, in 1989.
Zanzibar’s education minister wrote in Imam Khomeini’s memorial book as well.
The officials from Zanzibar have been staying in Iran from May 25. They are planned to visit the cultural places and libraries in the country.
Zanzibar is a semi-autonomous part of the United Republic of Tanzania, in East Africa./end
