Congolese parliamentary delegation pays tribute to late Imam

Shahre-e-Ray, Tehran province, May 30, IRNA – A Congolese parliamentary delegation attended late Imam Khomeini mausoleum on Saturday evening and paid tribute to the founder of Islamic Republic of Iran.

On the eve of anniversary of the late Imam's demise, June 4, the delegation also visited his modest house in north of Tehran.

Head of Congolese delegation Moussa Kalima said the late Imam was a model for him, “He was a pure and divine man,” he said, adding that although he is a politician now, but he has accepted Imam Khomeini as a model for him in all aspects of his life.

He added that Islamic revolution achieved victory under his leadership, and this revolution is not just for Iran, but for the whole world.

Kalima continued that Democratic Republic of Congo is now in war with imperialism and colonialists and we intend to throw them away from our country and in this concern Islamic revolution of Iran is a good model for us.

Democratic Republic of Congo has 65 million population of them seven million are Muslims./end
