Forbes lists Krasnodar as best Russian business city.
MOSCOW, May 28 (Itar-Tass) -- The southern city of Krasnodar remains
the best Russian business-friendly place, according to Forbes Russia
magazine that will come out on Friday.
The top five also comprise Khabarovsk, Chelyabinsk, Yekaterinburg, and
Novosibirsk while the biggest cities of Moscow and St. Petersburg failed
to qualify for a place in the list of 30 business-friendly cities.
Forbes said it analyzed in detail the business situation in the city,
business benefits and infrastructure, the level of comfort for arriving
businessmen, including information about hotels and restaurants.
The magazine said all cities were affected by the economic crisis,
however not only raw-material producing regional capitals and cities with
major investment projects are recovering, but also the cities where
economy was diversified yet before the crisis and authorities do not stake
on protectionism.
The first top five are followed by Omsk, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, Sochi,
and Krasnoyarsk.
