AZERI EMBASSY IN LONDON MARKS REPUBLIC DAY
Baku, May 27 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s embassy in London has arranged a celebrative event marking the May 28th, the Republic Day.
According to the embassy, the event brought together representatives of British Foreign & Commonwealth Office, members of parliament, diplomatic corps accredited in London, as well as high ranking officials of International Maritime Organization (IMO) and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and members of Azerbaijani and Turkish diasporas.
The event featured a documentary on the history of the Republic Day.
The participants were presented with books and journals on Azerbaijan`s history, culture and economy.
