Kazakh, Turkish presidents attend international exhibition of arms.

ASTANA, May 26 (Itar-Tass) - A first international exhibition of arms and military-technical property KADEX-2010 (Kazakhstan Defence Expo) opened in Astana on Wednesday.

Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev and
Turkish President Abdullah Gul attended the opening ceremony.
Kazakh Defense Minister Adilabek Dzhaksybekov said the exhibition
offered a good opportunity to attract world biggest producers of military
and special products to Kazakhstan and demonstrate prospects for the
development of Kazakh enterprises in the framework of creation of joint
high tech ventures. The Kazakh defense minister expressed hope that
KADEX-2010, in which more than 20 companies and enterprises from two
dozens countries take part, would become a presentation card of the Kazakh
capital.
Representatives of Kazakh business, whose production is intended for
the international armed forces beginning from logistics supplies to modern
military hardware, account for the biggest exhibition space. Other
countries - Russia, Austria, Belarus. Bulgaria, Great Britain, Germany,
Spain, Italy, China also have their products on display.
Participants and guests of the exhibition are to enjoy a show program
the use of latest specimens of military hardware and commando groups of
the Kazakh armed forces.
