JAPANESE ENVOY TO AZERBAIJAN VISITS GANJA
Ganja, May 26 (AzerTAc). Japanese ambassador to Azerbaijan Masamitsu Oki has visited Ganja, the country`s second largest city.
Oki attended the opening of a Ganja education center which was equipped as part of Japan`s Grant Assistance for Grass-roots Human Security Project.
Speaking to the ceremony, he said the Japanese government had implemented 7 projects in Ganja aimed at improving healthcare, developing education and bettering electricity supply for IDPs.
The ambassador was presented with a carpet depicting Azerbaijani poet Nizami Ganjavi here.
