ARTICLE ON AZERBAIJAN TOURISM PUBLISHED IN PORTUGAL

Baku, May 26 (AzerTAc). An article by Bahadur Bilalov, Head of the Department of the Azerbaijan’s Tourism Institute, titled “History of Azerbaijan: the past and the future” was published in the Egitania Sciencia journal of the Guarda Polytechnic Institute of Portugal. The article unlocks tourism potential of Azerbaijan, tells about national leader Heydar Aliyev’s policy to develop tourism sector in the country. It highlights Azeri President Ilham Aliyev attention to the non-oil sector of the Azerbaijan economy, including tourism, development of tourism infrastructure, which led to increasing number of tourist arrivals.
