CALIFORNIA GOVERNOR OFFERS REPUBLIC DAY GREETINGS TO LOCAL AZERI COMMUNITY
Baku, May 25 (AzerTAc). California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has sent a letter of congratulation to local Azerbaijani community on the occasion of May 28 – the Republic Day.
The letter reads: “California is home to a wonderful meshing of customs and cultures and now we acknowledge our Azerbaijani-American residents for their contributions to our Golden State. You enhance our communities and enrich California`s diversity. We are honored to join you in commemorating this special occasion.
On behalf of all Californians, we wish you a memorable observance and every future success.”
