DOCUMENTARY ON GUBA GENOCIDE SCREENED IN U.S.
Baku, May 25 (AzerTAc). A presentation of the documentary titled “Genocide: Guba”, made by Eurasian Institute for International Studies and funded by the Council of State Support for NGO-s under the Azeri President, was held in California. Scenario and director of the film is Etibar Mammadov, main advisor is MP Ganira Pashayeva.
The documentary reveals the fates of the thousands of Azeris, whose relatives were savagely killed during the bloody massacre committed by the Armenian nationalists in the Azerbaijani city of Guba on March 30-31, 1918.
The presentation organized by the Azerbaijan-American Council and Eurasian Institute for International Studies, involved representatives of Turkish and Azeri Diasporas, Council General of Azerbaijan in Los Angeles Elin Suleymanov and Vice Council of Turkey in Los Angeles Arif Celik.
