IAEA confirms receipt of Iran letter
Vienna, May 25, IRNA – The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on Monday confirmed receipt of the letter forwarded by Iran, Turkey and Brazil on the day.
IAEA spokeswoman Gill Tudor said in a written note on Monday that the IAEA Chief Yukiya Amano had received the letter, signed by Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Ali-Akbar Salehi and submitted by the envoys of Iran, Brazil and Turkey.
She said the letter is in pursuit of the May 17 Tehran declaration, signed by Iran, Turkey and Brazil for fuel supply to Tehran Research Reactor.
She added that the IAEA Chief is going to send the letter to the US, France and Russia for necessary investigation./end
