Tehran, May 25, IRNA – Mexico’s Secretary of Foreign Affairs Patricia Espinosa Cantellano said that the Tehran trilateral declaration signed recently on the nuclear swap was an important and valuable measure.
She made the remark on Monday in Mexico City during a meeting with Iran’s Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki. The two ministers reviewed ways of expanding and consolidating bilateral ties and exchanged views on regional and international developments.
They also stressed the need to make use of the potentials of the two countries in increasing the volume of trade exchanges.
Referring to the history of mutual ties which exceeds one century, Mottaki called for further ties between the two nations and said Iran was ready to transfer its experiences in oil and gas fields to Mexico.
Touching upon the issue of Palestine, he referred to the oppressive policies of the zionist regime against the nation and said the time when a handful of countries could make decisions for the whole behind closed doors was long over.
